The light is soft but bright enough to be of good use. I bought it for my granddaughter at Uni because they always seem to have power cuts and this little book light will be of good use for that as well as being a good addition to her trendy room. I haven't charged it but I feel sure it will not be a problem.

Such a great light at the lowest price. Saw this at someone else's house and then bought it for a present for someone. A nice battery operated light which operates when you've opened the 'book'. Would be nice if you could use the light without opening it but that's the design!
