From January 2026, connected V16 beacons become mandatory for most vehicles in Spain, replacing traditional warning triangles.

Installation Guide

1. Keep the V16 beacon inside the vehicle
2. In an emergency, place the beacon on the vehicle roof using the magnetic base
3. Activate the emergency light switch
4. The device begins flashing and transmits geolocation to DGT 3.0
5. Remain safely inside the vehicle where possible
6. Replace or recharge batteries as recommended by manufacturer
